SMR ONLINE BS

This is the reply to my inquiry about why many 80'S and newer sets were removed from the SMR online Baseball listings.

This is crap...

Hello,

We are unable to list every card set available so we list the most traded ones. From time to time, we will add or remove sets based on the demand in the market. If you need further assistance, please contact Customer Service at (800) 325-1121.

Thank you,

I wonder what "demand in the market" means.

Does it mean how many graded-cards are sold?

Does it mean how many raw-cards are submitted for grading?

That is a different answer than I got when I called customer service. I was told that they were being updated. Maybe who ever answers the phone just took a guess.

I checked the registry and for the 1980 Topps there are 46 registered sets and for the 84 Donruss there are 29 basic and 13 master sets. I guess they have determined that is not enough demand/interest.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)
