I have been playing around with it...first pic was blurry...maybe i can try it with other camera and get in closer.

back says gefahrvolle tierjagden tigerjagd then a paragraph which also seems to be german or something..then it says an unsere kleinen freunde! another paragraph of jibber and bottom says...urbin der sparsame schuhptz mil dem bequemen dosenoffner blendol der blendene mefallptz montella das sparsame bohnerwachs mit dem bequemen dosenoffner

it actually has white boaders, I think the red is a reflection from my scrubs...LOL i just got home from work

I have no actual knowledge of the card but I'll take a stab ...

My guess is that it's a German cigarette card. I'd say from the 20s/30s but I don't think I've seen any from that era in color. Your best bet is to post clear scans on the non-sport board since the folks down there will have a better idea of either what it is or where to find out what it is than here (no offense, folks ).

Try PMing MorrellMan. He's very nice and very knowledgeable. He might be able to help more. I might be able to point you in a more definitive direction if I could read the back. Good luck!

It's definitely German but I can't seem to locate any info about the (supposed) manufacturer, Urbin. I went to my trusty German Cards website and searched their database by manufacturer but nothing popped up under Urbin. Is there anything else printed on the back underneath the cutoff?

Thats about all the information i could find on it as well.....a couple years back i bought i collection off some guy and it was in one of the boxes. thanks for the info guys. find anymore let me know. wonder if it has any value??????????
