Ive been collecting for over two years....

...and I only have 8 slabbed coins in my type set.

    Oh my, only 8? I've been collecting for over 40 years and it took 38 for me to get just one graded.
    You're doing just fine. I presume you are still a working stiff with limited funds for collecting?
    If not, then you are way behing the ball! Not everyone wants graded coins. I for one just started
    with the grading thing so as to preserve my collections and keep them from the grandkids! Much
    easier to hand them plastic!!
    Keep up whatever tickles your fancy! That is what collecting is all about!

    all the coins in my type set are not in slabs...many have been cracked out to fit into the album.
  • if you take your time buying quality pieces with quality surfaces and PQ examples, it's akin to savoring a fine scotch!
