Market Report - "MS Lincoln Cents seem sluggish" - Comments?

From the thread on the Long Beach show comes a link to Legend Numismatics' market report that mentions what is "not hot" in the market right now.

<< <i>Long suffering Commems are still weak, as are most Morgans, EXCLUDING CC's. Still, anything that wasn't 100% quality for its grade will now languish. Seems the market has finally had enough of overgraded "widgets" (widget to us is NOT determined by value but rather a coin common enough you will see it at every show and auction in multiple grades). MS Lincoln Cents seem sluggish as well. >>

Legend Coin Market Report - Long Beach

I'm curious as to any thoughts y'all might have on the last bit re: the MS Lincoln market. My recent experience is that the market is fairly strong though not out-of-control. (But it wouldn't be the first time I was wrong!)

I do not handle copper coins as much as some other dealers do, but I agree with this assessment. With the exception of the key dates and better dates, PCGS certified Lincoln Cents aren't being desperately sought after by collectors. NGC graded examples are even more difficult to sell.

The memorials have been soaring on the PCGS price guide.

These probably are beneath the radar of most market participants, though.

Maybe, Just maybe a slight down turn. Yet I am still amazed at what some are going for.

I'd love to see the floor drop out from under them so I could afford to buy some. It may soften, but I doubt it'll crash.
