Lucky this was probably the free collectors club submission, but I really feel bad for someone that got taken on these.

    That is terrible.I saw one earlier today that got 13 out of 18 body bagged,but didn't know how to link it to a post.I just sent in a small 7 coin submission and am hoping for the best(all morgan dollars)

    Seriously though...it's good to see people feeling empathy and sympathy for this one....most of the time, people spout "well, it serves them right...they should know better" and like to blame the buyer.

    I agree it does suck and I hope they get help so they can learn the right way. If they are submitting to PCGS, hopefully they have learned, or will learn, aboutt his forum and can learn to avoid those.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    How sad can that be. I hope they're not sucidal.

    This and others like it should be directed to some of you big wig Dealers that can pull us all together to confront Ebay. We want no more of this "c-r-a-p".

    I don't know how many times I tried getting ebay to pull scam auctions. I get no where usually, so I just gave up. We're letting Ebay kill too many new collectors.

    Come on big wigs, get us organized. Maybe boycott ebay for 30 days, I don't know. Class action law suit, who knows.

    Not saying it would every happen, but think of how many tens of thousands of dollars of coins people from this board buy weekly, daily. It wouldn't even make ebay blink, but maybe some satisfaction to us all here. I say boycott ebay, just to prove a point(just to make my wife happy too) I'm not going to spend over $2k this week !!!!!

    Sure, there are a ton there and it is probably an educated guess, but, before the lynch mob gets their torches and heads out, I would like to hear from the submitter where he got them.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Unfortunately we do not live in a perfect world.
    Anything I can do to support the hobby/my habit; well I'm open to suggestions.

    Wow, that's a total punch in the gut. I only hope the submitter realizes it was the sellers who are the problem, and doesn't cling to a false reality by thinking PCGS doesn't know what they are doing. Hopefully there wasn't a lot of money spent on acquiring those.

    New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

    May not be eBay. Could be a flea market. Or someone returning from a trip to the Orient. Or any number of things.

    There are plenty of ways to obtain these fakes. I think eBay is just the most obvious and visible venue for 'em.

    This proves two things:

    2) The Chinese mint's are still up and operating!
