Is this the 1974D Doubled Die?

Sorry about the crappy pic.

I bought a box of halves from the bank this afternoon and found two of these. Is it the real deal?
While going through the box, I found the following:
* (11) 40% Halves
* (4) British Pennies? (years: 1921, 1936, 1946, 1946)
* (1) New Zealand Penny (1943)
* (1) Proof 1980S JFK Half
and the two questionable 1974D Doubled die JFKs.
Thanks for looking!

I wasn't sure, so I asked.
I looked for past threads that dealt with 1974D Doubled dies and found this (much better pic) :
Edited to add: Thanks for your help!

I think the picture is poor but that certainly appears to be the DDO.

I've found two in circulation. I'd like to find one in a Mint Set in better condition.
I have one 1973-D DDO. It's not in very nice condition but still very cool to find.
Nice find!
<< <i>Now would this coin be considered an error or a variety? >>
It's a variety because it affects the die and is consistent from coin to coin.
Errors tend to be unique or made for a short time with each being different.
Most varieties are intentional or inadvertant while errors tend to be more accidental.
These are just rules of thumb for differentiating errors and varieties.
