  • Shinders is sort of chain around the twin cities; They have cards for sale but they are not really a card shop. Some of them have more cards than others, I know the Burnsville and Roseville ones have quite a few cards. Stay away from the downtown MNPLS. ones. They are real dives. Edina one has real good cigar selection, is clean, and have some cards. Shinders is more known for the universal place for porn also. They all have a back room for adults.

Card shops have a tendency to live and die around here quickly. I have not heard of any of the other ones, except hub and I felt like I needed a shower after I left there. It is ok

I am from the south metro so I am not to familiar with the east metro suburbs, be sure to let me know if you find any good ones. Good luck

Here's a card shop that you should check out while you're in town:

The Ballpark - it's located in Apple Valley, MN about 15-20 miles southeast of St. Paul. They have tons of vintage stuff (pre '72), plus the owner of the shop is a good guy too. I've spent way too much money there over the last few years!

As colebear said, of all the Shinders in the Twin Cities area, the stores in Burnsville or Roseville are your best bets to find large groups of cards. Their selection can be hit-and-miss though, since they deal with a lot of stuff other than sports cards.

I recently moved away from the area, and never went to (or heard) of any of the other places that you mentioned.

    Hope that this info helps!
