type or set collector

I have recently switched to collecting various types of cards from all eras (pre-1950 mainly) and have found this to be very fascinating and less "stressful" than collecting sets. It opened my eyes to a couple of things - there are an incredible number of set types out there, probably in the 1000s??? What I found is that many of these cards are scarce, highly competitive when found on ebay, have an amazing history, and come in a plethora of shapes, sizes, colors etc. It reinforced my enthusiasm for collecting and during the past couple of years, I have learned far more about collecting by taking this approach than by focusing strictly on any one or several sets. I would be interested in seeing some of the scans I am sure many of you have of some of these very rare "cards" (I use that term loosely), one's which we rarely hear about on any of these forums such as Texas Tommy (E224), 1910 All-Star Baseball (Connie Mack on ebay right now), E125s, E107s, Dixie Lids, Felts, Helmar Silks (S81s) etc.

About as nice as one can get for an E-107 that technically grades poor.
