Capped Bust 25c guys.......... Variety ID ??? (Obverse pic added)

I was taking some pics of this 1819 quarter, and noticed the repunching on the 25 on the reverse..... Is this a particular variety ??? Premium ????

    need to see the obverse! I believe most coins with this reverse are common but some scarce ones with this rev. are paired with another obv.

    Baley as usual is correct. The B-3 is the common obverse (R-1) and has the 9 right under the hair curl. The B-4 is the scarcer one (R-4) and the 9 is to the left of the curl. The 1819 B-4 with the two die cracks thru the date is my icon and is a scarcer die state of the B-4.

    My guess would be a B-3

    Yes the repunching and the extra period is particular to the variety.

    No premium unless it's a B-4

    Definitely a B-3 because of the date position. Of course, I think Elwood has never missed one of the Bust quarter attributions either. image
