This Would Be A Neat Promotion.....

I was searching through random pictures on Getty Images and found a picture of Andruw Jones during the Japan All Star Series and the caption states: "Andruw Jones #25 of the Atlanta Braves throws autographed balls during the Aeon All Star Series Day 5 - MLB v Japan All-Stars at Fu/kuoka Yahoo! Japan Dome on November 8, 2006 in Fu/kuoka, Japan." I've never seen this done before in the U.S. but it sure would be neat to have player's come out during games and throw signed baseball's into the crowd.

Americans would kill each other fighting for the balls.
Folks Who Bite Get Bitten. Folks Who Don't Bite Get Eaten.
  • I remember maybe 4-5 years back I went to an O's/Red Sawks game with my brother, we got there really early and just enjoyed the ballpark. Manny nearly took our heads off with a ground rule double during BP. But the Sox players were tossing up signed balls to our section(just to the right of the bullpen, under the big screen). Good times. Great game. Free tickets from my brothers company.

Wondering how the crowd reacted as in Japan they are not allowed to keep balls hit into the stands and have to give them backimage
