Do Presidential dollars and State quarters cheapen Numismatics?

  • Presidential Dollars will not have much effect on numismatics... however the Statehood Quarter Program was perhaps the most significant numismatic program within the last 100 years. It provided a complete revival in numismatics and has brightened up the future of this hobby significantly.

The mint is coming out with way too much junk.I try to collect all coins of a given year and just realized that the mint sets from 04-07 had satan and I didn't have the non satan coins.I had to hunt down 44 unc coins I needed to make those years complete.
It's like going into the supermarket to get orange juice, and there is 100 different types to chose from, then realizing you chose the wrong type.

Forget about cheapening numismatics, how about a PCGS graded MS65 Presidential Dollar, First Day Issue for $12???

It was just a few short weeks ago, and they were selling MS65's for $50+

    eBay
