As soon as silver hits about $500 an ounce, that will be a decent deal...

This guy has a lot of learning to do image

And I guess after he sees his listing fees he may start the next auctions at half the price image

I wonder if e-bay will ever see the fees for this auction. He will probably quit before paying.

Come on guys, that mint morgan is a steal at only $400........ image

Collect raw morgans, walkers, mercs, SLQ, barber q. Looking at getting into earlier date coins pre 1900s.

Not only is that one 1921 Morgan not worth $400, but a roll of them in that condition might not bring $400 either.

If he sells that Morgan for $400, I'm going to consign a bunch of bulk Morgans to him. Not.

The Ebay road to financial nirvana is littered with such fools.

I'm a little bit short on coin money right now so I will pass on this one!

I would pass on it even if I wasn't short on coin money, but that's because it is a p.o.s.

    His response:

I bet your right on those coins, but I run a business that helps people sell their stuff on ebay. I don't get to price the item. Thanks anyways for your advice.

At those prices, his business ISN'T "helping people sell their stuff on ebay". His business is helping people LIST their stuff on ebay where it WON'T sell because of the too-high prices.

Hahahhahahaha......what a great response....probably not even true. Just trying to deflect.
Even if I were consigning, I would have some integrity around stuff.

looks like a d mint to boot!

  • I emailed the seller. Basicly telling him to reavaluate the listing. I am giving him/her the benifit of possibly not nowing what they have. With a zero feedback, this could be a person just trying to get their feet wet on Ebay, and simply do not know what the word mint really means. Anyway, I gave them a bit of a heads up that the listing is being watched.

Zero feedback, must either be lousy at getting consigners, just started or his response is plain ole BS.
