GRADES - Not too bad, but PSA was tough on me

These grades are pretty decent. However, if you were to see (for instance) the Red's Artillary, and the Stallard, and the Brooklyn, and the Daley, you would see why I'm a little disappointed. I EXPECTED a 9 on the Daley, and thought I had a real shot at a 10. I could honestly not find one single, solitary flaw on it even under magnification. Same for the Red's Artillary. I guess that's the breaks, though. A little disappointed, but I'll take it.

These go in a complete set. It will go on Ebay in the next few weeks.

I will post scans when I get the cards. Grades just posted.

I sure did expect at least one 9 out of that bunch. Some things I expected, like the Mantle to get an o/c. The Musial was a little o/c, so I kind of expected a 7 and not an 8. I'm pleasd with the Maris, Spahn, Aaron AS, and the Mays AS. But, guys, I'm telling you that those commons were absolutely stunning.

Since you aren't a bulk submitter, your odds of getting a 9 were slim before you started.

Does psa really take bulk/non bulk submitter status into consideration? I've long had my concerns about them marginalizing the little guy, even if you send in a perfect card. It's just all so subjective in the end, isn't it...
  • PSA takes all that into consideration. Doesn't that make you want to use them over and over again?
