... because the cashier in the lunch room today asked me if I knew that there are new dollar coins coming out.

I was purchasing a cup of Louisiana gumbo and got a quarter in change. When she noticed that I looked at the reverse to see which state quarter it was (for my Whitman folder with the kids), she asked if I knew about the presidential dollars. I told her that I heard of them, and I asked if she received any yet. She said not yet, but she was looking forward to seeing what they look like in person. She even said she was going to go to the bank and get some to spend. And this is the lady who hassles me when I give her some pennies that I wnat to get rid of.

Now the real test is to see if my mother has heard of these coins. I will get her on the horn right now.
