    This is the same guy who had a non-existent 1952 Mantle graded gem mint by SGC pulled off ebay a couple weeks ago. I can't believe this guy gets bids

    The buyer has bought alot of "too expensive" items.

    Hopefully, EBAY will save him on this one, but............

    Scammers use the "herd mentality" with multiple shill accounts using fake bids hoping some sucker thinks it's all legit. I believe usually the high bid on these things is almost always the scammers shill account with no takers.

    Unfortunately this "tlsalt" seems like he might be a legitimate bidder. I didn't "fully" investigate it but he has won a number of sports related auctions and he may have been suckered in here to this one.

    I lost one of my buyer-IDs last year, by sending a "warning."
    The dumb-a** buyer told EBAY that I had warned him not to
    pay; during the UID look-see.

    If one has a totally disposable ID, it is fine to warn buyers.

    I told him "do not pay," and then gave the reason.

    BUT, any contact is considered interference under the EBAY TOS.

    Again, if one has a "disposable ID," it is safe. Otherwise, not.
