Scammers use the "herd mentality" with multiple shill accounts using fake bids hoping some sucker thinks it's all legit. I believe usually the high bid on these things is almost always the scammers shill account with no takers.
Unfortunately this "tlsalt" seems like he might be a legitimate bidder. I didn't "fully" investigate it but he has won a number of sports related auctions and he may have been suckered in here to this one.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

I lost one of my buyer-IDs last year, by sending a "warning."
The dumb-a** buyer told EBAY that I had warned him not to
pay; during the UID look-see.
If one has a totally disposable ID, it is fine to warn buyers.

I told him "do not pay," and then gave the reason.
BUT, any contact is considered interference under the EBAY TOS.
Again, if one has a "disposable ID," it is safe. Otherwise, not.
