TONIGHT...Roger W. Burdette to speak at Frederick, Maryland coin club

Hey,

I know it's late notice but the Frederick, Maryland coin club will have author Roger Burdette speak at our meeting tomorrow (Tuesday).

Mr. Burdette is the author of the books "Renaissance of American Coinage 1905 - 1908," and "Renaissance of American Coinage 1916 - 1921." I believe he also spoke at last summer's Baltimore Coin Convention. I think PhillyJoe met him then.

He will be speaking on the"Myths and Tall Tales" of the 1921 high relief Peace dollar, the Buffalo nickel, and the ultra high relief $20 Saint Gaudens.

Yes, I did meet him in Baltimore. Very interesting man; the ultimate researcher. Would love to be there. Thankfully, he is also a member here and shares his knowledge willingly.
