Griffey Finally Admits to How He Broke Hand

Comments

  • Maybe the story will change before the start of the season...

"I was sitting at the computer, late at night checking out some porn sites, whacking the ol' carrot, and got carried away. Since im as fragile as a 90 year old woman suffering from osteoperosis I didnt want to tell you guys the truth, cause I figured you'd make fun of me"

Geez, is Satan coming back to exact payment on this guy or something? It's absolutely incredible how often Griffey gets injured. Couch potatoes are more durable. But he's still the only pure unadulterated power hitter with over 500 HRs right now, and a sure-fire first-ballot HOFer.

I agree with you that Griffey is one of those rare guys that never did anything illegal to increase his power, but you know there are writers out there that are looking at all of the injuries and wondering...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

Wondering what might have been possibly, but certainly not wondering about his first ballot entrance into the HOF.
There are two types of people in this world; those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don't. My ex-wife loves him!!

Griff never should have switched his number???? Or went to Cincy??? Or????? Ahhh????? I dont know this kid has been snakebitten with the injury bug for some reason or other but to know fault of his own. Lets hope he has an injury free season.

He may have been considered one of the best players of all time if no one had used steroids over the past twenty years. Think about his numbers in context.
It is a shame how injuries (and others' use of steroids) have hurt his legacy.

And all that said, I don't believe that is how he hurt his hand or he would have said it to begin with...
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!
