sharp or fuzzy corner?

Below is a zoom of the upper left corner of a card with a little extra cardboard, kinda like a rough-cut, but limited to one spot on the tip. Would this still be considered a "sharp" corner? The surface of the card comes to a nice point, but there's the extra cardboard visible.

I had a rough cut with extra cradboard fuzz on an opc card - razor otherwise, got an 8.

There's a Matt Millen joke in here, but I cannot find it.
    Enjoy your collection!

See if you can carefully slice it off. If it's "extra", which it is, I wouldn't consider that trimming.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."

If it has something to do with Millen, you know it's a loser.
    Stay away!!!

If you put a blade to it and alter the original card it is trimming.....

I say this card is an 8. I'll trade you RCs of Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, and Joey Harrington for it.

Sometimes you can clean away that fuzz by gently brushing the card with your fingertips. I wouldn't take a blade to it.

    Good for you.
  • On a serious note, I've licked my finger and run it across the edge to make the "hairs" stand out less. This has never damaged the card, but be sure not to hit the corner.

I've done that, but not on cards.

imo, this is considered fuzzy and will grade as such.

    Thanks,
