Ebay seller question

Hey guys. I have a bunch of Emmitt Smith psa 9's I want to move. I know Boopotts, dont laugh too hard image

Should I list them as singles or do lots?

I'm just wondering if you sellers have more success either way.

Thanks

Matt

Tough call Matt. You *might* make a bit more selling them individually, but it's a lot more time to list them and ship them that way.

My honest opinion? Figure out what you want for the lot, wait for the next 20 cent listing day, and list the lot with a minimum bid equivalent to the price you want.

  • to get the most for your $, I list single cards. But if you group them as a lot, I can guarentee that I will bid on them (to possibly resell as singles). Good luckimage

Recently, I dumped a bunch of 9s (not ES) as a big lot of about 18.
I used lingo similar to this:

"This is a great lot for resellers who want a "crack-and-resubmit" project.
As market-grading principles are adopted, it is likely that many 9s will
    become 10s upon resubmission."

(Then, I recited the SMR for 9s and 10s.)

The lot sold for only a tiny bit more than I would have ended up with if I
had listed each card singly. But, it was alot less work.

I am finding more and more on EBAY that if items are not hot and in
demand, they bring very little at auction. Such items seem to do a little
better in stores or CORE BIN.

Matt, If you have an Ebay store I'd park them there. You can hold out for your price. If you don't have a store do a market check to see how many , if any of each item is there. Ebay recently has been increasing their fees, which tends to drive down profits for sellers of non-rare but valuable items. There are pros and cons for each method. Lots or solo, fixed price or auction. Its not really a tough call based on your end hopes.

I'd suggest taking the time and contact each of the other E.S. collectors on the registry and pitch them 1st. This has proved to be an easy sell for me , with coins or cards.Good luck,Sonny

Lately, the only place they fly is to somebody else's house for 99-cents. image

    Stores usually/often work well.

Excellent advice. Did the same with a lot of PSA 8 1993 Refractors a few months ago and got FAAAAAAR more for them than I would have individually.
