Why cross this card?

Why would this seller cross this card from PSA? No doubt the registry would drive the price higher than BVG.
It's his rookie card and he's in the hall. Set collectors (me) and RC HOF collectors would drive the price up to $800?.
If what he says is ligit, he had to pay grading fee's. Was he looking for a 9 ? I don't think the centering
is good enough. Any ideas?

  • here's another one he crossed, but this time from a PSA 10!!

    1981 FLEER KIRK GIBSON BGS 9.5 ! with 10 1/1! PSA 10
CROSSED OVER FROM A 1/1 PSA 10 TRUE GEM BOTH STANDARDS

He may be the only person in history to cross a PSA 10 to BGS. Maybe he was looking for 10s across the board from BGS in the hopes someone would pay more for the card?

if reported ebay should pull the auction for specifying echeck only when accepting paypal.
