1977-78 Topps Basketball variations- any info?

I was in a card shop about a month ago while I was out of town, and I was looking at some 1977-78 Topps basketball he had. I seem to remember them having the standard "dull" back that Topps cards from the 70s had, but every '77 card I've seen since has a bright glossy green back, and I haven't been able to find any others with the dull background. So now I'm thinking I'm confused and was looking at cards from another set. I was wondering if anybody had any info on the 77-78 Topps basketball set, and whether there were variations on the back.

According to the Beckett Basketball price guide, "Card backs are printed in green and black on either white or grey card stock. The white card stock is considered more desirable by collectors and may even be a little tougher to find. However, there is no difference in value for either card stock."
