OT: Best online place to purchase a cruise?

I have twice purchased disney cruises directly from the disney website, but have since learned that cutting out the middle man doesn't necessarily mean a bargain.

I am thinking of booking another disney (my kids are age 2 and infant), but am open to any family friendly ship. Disney has been great though.

Any suggestions for either website or cruiseline/ship?

Check out the COSTCO site, or visit the store.

  • I have had some success with cruisesonly.com. You can call them also and talk about better prices or upgrades. AAA also may have some good prices if you're a member.

As for cruise lines the wife and I favor Norwegian. We have used Celebrity and Carnival but would not sail with them again. Living in S. FL we're able to book late, get good prices and drive to the departure site.

BTW - we do not have children but like Norwegian for their more mellow atmosphere. They're not as much of a party boat as Carnival for example.

Disney certainly does it right as they do with all of their ventures. You may not be able to get a better cruise for a true family experience geared toward the kids, but you pay for it too.
