06 Topps Heritage

OK so, I know some people get a little "crazy" with the heritage sets. I got this back from Topps a day or two ago, and have a question.
I don't know If I am going to keep it or not. If I decide to sell it, should I sell now before '07 comes out and that is the rage, or do I keep it for a few months and when '07 comes out try to sell it?
When would I likely get the most for the card? Again....this is if I decide to part with it.
I have seen 2 on Ebay in the past few months (none recently) and they both went for between $400-$450.
Thanks for the input

Nice card! Good luck in whatever you decide to do with it. You could count it as the first big piece in your master Heritage collection.

But what I do know? That card is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanx for sharing
Good luck if you put it up on ebay
If I pull a card like that this year? I'm holding a press conference!!!!
You'll never go broke taking a profit.
VERY pretty card to see, though.
When I pulled the redemption, I stuck the redemption on Ebay with a BIN for $250 OBO...no offers. at that time only 1 had sold and it was for $415(the actual redeemed card)
Thanks

You might start out by putting it up with a fairly high BIN, maybe $500, with a best offer option and see what kinds of bites you get. Us Heritage guys know there are some high rollers out there with some pretty deep pockets that just might snap it up. Lately that guy has been enigma1132 - he has been dropping some serious coin on Heritage. If that doesn't work, then maybe start it at $0.99, no reserve and let it fly. You might get a couple of those hardcore guys that snipe each other to a tidy profit.

might do just as well.
I would not do 99-cents, because the frenzy might not happen.
MORE and more folks are sick of playing the auction game. They
want to buy the stuff, and move on. Buyers are getting used to
going to free-standing sites and JUST buying what they want NOW;
that psychology is filtering deep into EBAY, and will continue to grow.
I have a feeling you all may be seeing it up on Ebay later this weekend.
thanks

You make some very good points here. I have to admit that that is how my buying mentality has started to shift. It's all part of that "instant gratification" mindset that America has grown into. I'd rather pull the trigger on a decent BIN than wait a week to see if I can maybe get a bargain, but on the other hand maybe miss out on the original price because snipers have been at work.

<< <i>Well as quickly as it was here, it is just as quickly gone. Sold it today for $500. So very sad to see it go, but the timing is just right for the money.

That's incredible.
