What is your experience with ebays 1 day auction?

I have never done one before and was curious if anyone has and how you did. Do you think you would have got more money if you ran the auction for 7 days? There are so many people using snipe programs now I am not sure it would make that much difference.

I know as a buyer I like 1 day auctions because I am impatient and want my cards or coins sooner than later. I also don't think that I paid any less than I would have paid if it was a 7 day.

My daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 2 (2003). My son was diagnosed with Type 1 when he was 17 on December 31, 2009. We were stunned that another child of ours had been diagnosed. Please, if you don't have a favorite charity, consider giving to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation)

  • I have done a 1-day auction a few times and my experience has not been good. The longer the card sits the more chance people have to run across said card.

I don't think one day auctions are good for sellers. There simply isn't enough time to gain the attention of a larger pool of bidders (believe it or not, not everyone checks ebay every day, lol!), and there is also a perception (rightfully so in some cases) that one day auctions are scams.
