The last 10 on eBay went for about $375 a few months back. The seller's a good guy. Probably just isn't familiar with the current value of that card.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
<< <i>I saw that one earlier tonight. As bad as I want a Simms Rc in Psa 10, I dont want it that bad.
You can usually pick one up for $300 to $400 bucks.
I have a feeling it will be re-listed next week a few bucks lower. >>
I'm happy with the 10 or so I have in my collection. I'm looking to get one autographed, hopefully that'll happen. I've a few Simms autos(maybe 4-5?) not to sure.

If he ever makes the HOF that's probably a $1000 card, at least during the first couple months after he's elected. If not, then it's probably a $350-$450 card. I hadn't seen one sell before though.
Great card, great player. Fine announcer. Potential future HOF'er.
He's a little high on it but Dave's (the seller) is a great guy and maybe he's pricing it according to what he's into it for? I think many sellers do that in their ebay stores as oposed to being right on the price with the current market.

Very nice card from a centering-deficient set.
