Jim Taylor rookie card question

Jim Taylor's first two cards are misprints. Another player from the Cardinals was pictured on both of his first two Packer cards. I know error cards are error cards but when it is the picture of the player instead of a typo should we not consider using the first card with the player's correct face on it?
I know we will never remove cards from the ALL-Time Packers or HOF rookies but I hate displaying the "Jim Taylor" rookie and my friends say "That does not look like him". Just my two cents.

I'm with you FavreFan. This is more than just an 'error' card.
It's ridiculous to consider the 1959 Taylor card his rookie card
when he's not even pictured on it, but the purists will never be swayed.
To them it's his first card so by god it's his rookie card and that's that no matter who the hell's picture is on it.
"How about a little fire Scarecrow ?"
<< <i>It could have looked like this . . .
Just perfect. I believe the 1961 fleer and topps are his true Rookies to me.
