I asked PSA for a new Message Board category

Well, I finally got tired of having to weed through countless postings about cards I don't need to know anything more about right now, and asked PSA for a Modern Card Forum.

Hope they open one up!

What do you think a forum exclusively dedicated to cards from 1982-now??

Isn't that what the buy, sell and trade forum effectively is? And the Beckett forums?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I wish they would open up the different sports related message boards. I want a Football and Basketball only board so I dont have to weed through all the baseball... No offence baseball collectors....

    FINISHED 12/8/2008!!!

  • Does that mean that 81's are now at least semi vintage lolimage

I think it would be pretty cool though!

According to PSA policy, you'll need to have a minimum of 200 posts, along with NO Star Wars avatars before you're allowed to request anything like that. Sorry, come back and see us in a month or so. image

Dave, I'm with you 100% on the football only message board idea!!

I agree, having more boards can only make it easier to find posts and keep people pointed to the right discussion groups.

i figured you would ask for a category titled "1993 finest refractor mcgwire". since there is soooooo much interest on that bad boy!

Good suggestion Dave. Did you ever request that with the moderator? It would seem like a good solution.

took the words right outta my mouth image
  • I know i have been on some message boards where certain threads can be pinned to the top. Why not have something like that for most frequently asked questions? Mechanical error questions, set registry time table, 10X loupe, where to get supplies etc.

Looking for 81-84 Topps Stickers in PSA 9 or better, 81 Topps Scratch offs, 83 Topps Fold outs in PSA 8 or better, 83 Fleer Stamps and 81/86 Fleer Star Stickers in PSA 9 or better.

I hate "pinned" threads. Nobody reads them or heeds them anyways.

As far as the OP's comments.

    Simple....

if you don't like it, don't open it, or just leave.

i think there should be only 1 message board for each hobby.. cards, coins, records, stamps, whatever.. and anything pertaining to those topics can go in the appropriate board.

There's a thing called "search" which can be used.
