How much would you pay?

Here's the situation - you're bidding on a SGC 7.5 card. SMR for PSA 7 is $135, PSA 8 is $315.

What do you think it would take to win it?

I don't think it would cross to an 8.

    Got a link?

    What's the centering like?

That's key for me in determining what I will pay in a certain grade.

I don't know if its just me but that card looks like PSA 8 or better.

I wouldn't base a purchase on SMR- it can be drastically off in either direction. Use a service that tracks realized prices for a better idea.
In this case I would use the realized prices for a 7 and an 8, and then put it in the middle and closer to where you think it actually will end up- in this case it sounds like a 7.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

  • Sharp card and it looks great in that holder....I'd go $225
  • Sometimes SGcd is stricter! But not when it comes to centering. I would stay around 225, shooting for an 8 being the centering looks great!

I like the centering - looks like a solid 7.

I agree with Anthony - go by what they've sold in ebay - but to be honest - I don't think I would go over what 7s have gone for.

    Good luck SP
