9th and Passyunk .... Pat's King of Steaks

Genos is good too. Actually, you really can't go wrong at any joint.

    Jim's
    Talk of the Town
    Tony Lukes

to name a few others. Try em all and let us know.

  • Thanks guys for the advice.

I was in Philly in July for the first time and went to a Phillies game and Genos afterwards.

I'll probably try Pat's this time.

    Try em all

As tempting as that sounds, that's probably dangerous since I'll be driving another 6 hours afterwards.

I try to eat healthier these days, so I usually get a chicken cheesesteak. LOL

Actually a good number of places in the Philly area, even in the suburbs, make a good or decent cheesesteak because if they don't, then they're out of business, so you usually won't go wrong when spotting any restaurant sign in the Philly area advertising "cheesesteaks"

Is this not the place where the owner (probably Geno), is being told to remove his "Speak English" sign!

The beef they put in their cheesesteaks are "road kills"
  • Well I ended up going to Pat's for breakfast and Geno's for lunch; both of them were"wiz wit". For comparison purposes, Geno's seemed to have a little more grease, but both were really good!

    Thanks guys for the recommendations.
