60 of them. 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 cards printed on back of player statute boxes..colored photo with white border....name in red with team and data about player in bottom front. Yellow background. Can be found cut or in tact with box. No # on card but there were numbers on box flaps. Single and three player boxes were sold. SCD lists most "cards" at $ 10 to $ 20. The boxed cards are generally listed for double the cut cards. Mantle is 30. Clemente, Yaz, Kaline, Mays,F Robinson,B Robinson, Banks, Aaron and Rose all in set.

    There is also a 70 set ( 30) and a 1970 Mets only sey (15)

Thanks for the information, it looks like I'll be getting a Banks in a trade(it's a lowgraded PSA but it looks very clean from the scan) and I might start this set if I can find some of the others as well.

  • Finding the complete boxes with the little statue in them is quite difficult, particularly for
    the HOF'ers.

You can usually find a dozen or so cards, boxes, on Ebay at any time.

I just got a Lou Brock in the box for $150 or so, last fall.

it is a great set--the for-runner to Starting Line Ups and McFarlane Figures. Have about 75% of the entire set all in unopened form with statutes still in the box. Very cool item for the player collector, as many HOFs are in the set. And no-- they do not look like the real players as the McFarlanes do now!
