crossovers

I have a bgs 9.5of Hines Ward and I was thinking of trying for a PSA 10 for my set registry - is it worth the try, I'm new just curious.

    Just check the card before you attempt to crack. If its the older slab(grades on the reverse) the 9.5's usually cross to psa 10's. If its the newer slab(grades on front) really look over the card well. I have a bunch of newer bgs slabs all 9.5's that would be tough getting into psa 9 slabs.

  • Why would he have to crack it prior to sending it in for a crossover, he could put a minimum grade of gem of the submission sheet and then PSA would take care of it if it qualifies otherwise he still has his BGS 9.5. That's what I do for crossovers.

    ...and I'll bet you have a lot that fail to cross over. The general consensus around here is that they don't give the same credence to cards that are still in some other companies holder. Especially GAI and BGS. Crack and resubmit seems to be the appropriate game to play.
