2007 Spink

I got my 2007 Spink today. I have not looked at it in detail, but I have found a number of errors.

I do like the color photos, but in at least two places the wrong photo is used. They have also removed the section showing the various types of Victoria Pennies (photos are gone, the text is still there).

It is a great book even with the errors, but after it took as long as it did the result is a real let down.

I'm glad I did not buy it.

I am expecting mine any day now. Never had one before so I won't be too disappointed.

My suggestion is that if you have the Spink from last year or the year before that you get one maybe every other year. I have the 2007 and find it OK but really not that special.

It can be an advantage if you know your coins and somebody looks up a particular issue in Spink '07 to charge accordingly! Many of the prices on the other hand appear to not be realistic, so caveat emptor!
