Looks like quite a spread of coins! What's the distribution by age?

Finding silver in bulk lots is very rare. Did you check for a variety on the 1859 Can 1c?

Can't say I took a close look at the 1859 Canadian. Probably should.

While I was not expecting any silver in the bag I did hope that 1 or 2 slipped through. No such luck though.
The bag was fun to go through and brought a number of hours of enjoyment. I only needed help from Brad with 2 Algerian coins that I just could not identify, though the Master was able to nail the IDs immediately.

I'm kinda surprised about the lack of pre-1900 coins.

Yes, there were very few 19th Century coins in the lot but I had no real feel for how many to expect in one of these 10K bags. The large number of Belgium coins also did not surprise me but I was surprised by the number of Spanish coins in the mix. Most of the Austrian and German coins were the crappy zinc ones and most were not in very nice shape.

I would likely buy another 10K bag as it was interesting to work through. The data I kept and the data from the bag that Harpua posted in this post can help others set realistic expectations when buying bulk bags of world coins.
