"My favourite Eliasberg coin - Hammered French Gold"
Everything about this coin is nice. The design, the strike, the history and of course the pedigree.
I have a note by all your coins in my Eliasberg catalog and I would agree this is also my favorite of your collection.
( You really need to post photos in your Signature Set across the street

PS. I still like the Jean II Le Bon "Mouton d'or" you got a while back from Civitas.

<< <i>Man, the French really had the coin making thing down in the Middle Ages! >>
Yep - If I had to start collecting from scratch again I'd go for medieval hammered French gold.

The great thing is, you CAN start all over again.... it'd just mean selling off your collection of Z.A.... nevermind! heresy!! I take that back....

Thanks for all the great comments on all of the Eliasberg coins that I have posted everyone.
I'll post a few more in a few weeks otherwise it'll be an Eliasberg overdose and we don't want that now, do we ?
