It's possible to put more coins in that show case. Most people will probably put more then 10 coins in them if some of them are really nice although the don't plan to collect the whole series
If they were serious about it being only 10 coins then the Showcase wouldn't allow more. And besides, can you say you don't want to show your favorites and that you can pick your favorite 10? I couldn't so I have 13, I think, in my Showcase.
I don't even own 10 best coins. I'd have trouble rustling up 3. But, I loathe competition in the coin hobby, so I wouldn't display them in any event. To each their own.
I personally agree with the poster. It's like the guy on the Express checkout lane at the supermarket who thinks it's OK if he has more than ten items !! Or like some board members who, in a thread where people are posting pics, will put images of ten coins in his post, or put up four posts in a row, thus drowning out other participants. Every trough has its pigs !! <<hahaha flame away !!! oink oink !!!>>

Similar to trying to pick just the two best ex-girlfirends out of 20 (BEFORE I GOT MARRIED!).
That added paragraph was inserted to protect my body parts from a wandering and wondering spouse!
But seriously, I agree most collectors would find it difficult to choose.
