Got grades 1887 Jubilee set

I just got grades for my coins:
3P - MS63
6P WREATH-MS65, EX COSMIC
6P SHIELD-MS65, EX COSMIC
1S - MS65
2S - MS63
1/2 CROWN - MS62, EX WYBRIT
4S ROMAN - MS63
4S ARABIC - MS62PL
All toned to various degrees

Hope to have them photographed by one of our own as my own skills are lacking. Thanks to the members who helped. Now to locate a Crown with the "look"

Very nice! The British 1887 coins have always been a favourite of this forum. They are also much more difficult in high grades than one might initially think. I remember the ex cosmic coins, it was a superb pair from Bruce Lorich I think, if you still have their photos, I'd love to see them again.


I wish I still had this PCGS MS64 crown, to offer you for your set, but it was sold 2-3 months ago. I'm not posting its photo,but providing the link instead, because I'm sure that most members are sick and tired of it.

Syracusian, Wow what a memory! Yes they are the coins you remember but I failed to save the photos. I sure hope that the Crown was not offered here on the boards because I would be sick if I missed it, because it has the "look"

Hey thank you for your nice comments, indeed my coin memory surprises even myself sometimes, once I see a beautiful coin, it gets automatically saved in my brain's hard disk. I wish that I could perform the same way elsewhere, sigh... The crown was not offered here, no, it was listed on ebay and I really can't complain about its result. Now that I checked, it was actually sold in the beginning of October 2006, time passes by more quickly than I think sometimes.


But with a little patience I'm sure that you'll find one with an even better "look". Your set certainly deserves it.
