Jerry Jones explains whe he hired Wade Phillips

From USA Today:

Jones wanted experience: "At the end of the day we felt that his background both defensively and as a winning head
coach provided the best fit for our team".

In other words no youth movement for the Cowboys at least not yet.

    Actually, what he meant to say was, "I needed a coach who could easily be fired once I can hire Bill Cowher next season."
