I know he practically worships the ground Joe Gibbs walks on but how much longer can this go on?

I remember Bob Hope once talking on TV about when a journalist asked him "How long a comedian has on stage before the audience either likes the comedian or doesn't." Hope said, "Probably about 30 seconds." Then Hope quipped with impeccable timing, "And I've got about a minute and a half." Of course meaning despite Hope's reputation, he still had to win over the audience each time. Hope by the way was extremely funny, and dirty, in his stage act when live not on TV. My dad saw him live at the Maxwell Club awards and said it was the best comedy routine he ever saw.
But back to the point...I think Joe Gibbs "minute and a half" might be close to being up this season unless Snyder sees some improvement.

<< <i>The 'Skins need a QB, and some WR's. Shoring up that D-line wouldnt hurt either. >>
In other words they need a whole team
Gibbs will retire soon if he cant get it done. He has to retire so his "image" isnt too tarnished.

<< <i>Didn't he sign a 5 year deal. He had been there 3 now since the comeback. If this year is dud, he walks away. They make the Playoffs, he fulfills his contract and then leaves. I see Snyder going after Cowher when Gibbs does leave. >>
The competition for Cowher is going to be fierce, he will have his pick of a number of lucrative offers to choose from.
