Vatican Eliasberg Medal

NGC BU ( ca. 1962 ). 35 grams, 39.8 mm. Pope John XXIII to left in papal regalia, legends around / papal seal in glory of rays, legends around, hallmarks below. Reflective fields and frosty motifs.

A bit of confusion surrounded the sale of this coin as the seller ( on the Bay ) had the incorrect lot number ( or incorrect weight and size I can't remember exactly ). There for I made a ridiculously low offer on this medal thinking that it was one of the smaller medals that is listed in the Eliasberg Catalogue. I was rudely told that I could take a walk....a few Emails later and the deal was done for a good price.
