Canadian dollar die variation

Don PM'd me today asking about the '51 Canadian half i posted yesterday with the nice toning. I tried to capture the waves in the water, as this is a die variation? Can you tell by this picture which one i have? Also, what should i be looking for? thanks!

Yours looks like the common 1951. The Arnprior coins have 2 1/2 waterlines.
