Not surprisingly, Florida has the #1 rated recruiting class.

I am surprised that Miami came in at #9. I guess a crappy coach will have to run them into the ground before they lose cache in the recruiting world. I would think FSU (#25) would have done better than Miami.

I'm sure Florida will get the #1 Basketball recruiting class as well.

Hey Gator fans, how good is your Baseball team this year?

  • As far as what I know about our BB team, we should be in good standing, you'll recall we went to the CWS 2 years back, this past year was a bit of a struggle, so we'll see how this year develops.

  • Signing day is always fun b/c it is pure speculation on how good the prospect will turn out. When the most recent Heisman winner was a three star recruit - who knows. It's great to watch these kids develop.

USC signed espn's # 1 player in the country, James ? McNight I believe his name was, a running back.
  • The player rankings mean nothing. Between ESPN, Scout and Rivals I am not sure one kid or team had the same rating or ranking. It's not who you recruit, it's how you develop the recruit.
  • Great point Volver! Wisconsin is a perfect example. They are never ranked high in recruiting, yet they always seem to be right in the mix at the end of the year.
