Grades UP!!! only 40 days later!

Well I am a happy camper. This was my 29 card test run for crossovers. The cards where all BGS 9 with a handfull of 9.5 scattered in and this is what PSA graded them. I am happy with them all but the Garko. It is a BGS 9.5 and came back with eveidnce of trimming. Oh well you can't win them all!

Sorry. None of them are for sale and the Contreras wasn't trimmed. This happens a lot with Bowman Chrome cards (and i have found mainly with 2002 and 2003). They just are a bit too small.

no. i dont like to deal with the people on the phones. overall my impression is that they arent sure whats going on. they couldnt tell me why it took almost 3 months to get my mechanical errors back. that was after some PM'ing to people with more power. then all of a sudden they could ship them back to me in like three days.

this order was to have PSA/DNA cert. auto cards graded. It took two calls and emails to get them to figure out what to do about the order, all this took about over a month as well. they originally got these cards on 10/31. i got an email two weeks later saying there was a problem with the order. i talked to the guy, though its was squared away, sent an email stating I approved of the changes. then i went on vacation. then in december i get a call about the same order. seems that the first guy didnt take care of the issue. so i had to agree all over again.

i finally got the other portions of this order, tall boy special, earlier this month. but alas, four of the holders were cracked. so i have to send them back. then wait another three months to get them fixed probably. the kicker is that in order to have the 2005 Turkey Red cabinets graded, i had to submit it under a express level, yet these arent a T3. They will slabed other cards the same size in the same holder under the super size special that they had. then when i get the card back it is labeled as a 2006 not 2005!!!

You wont get any grades posted on this sub. They consider these "review" cards. I sent in a sub for the same exact service and when my sub popped there were no grades.

I called and was told they dont post grades for reviews and I would have to wait for the package.

thanks for the heads up. i feel better. i was fully expecting to open a package and see no grades. but you give me hope. at least it doesnt take the PO long to deliver registered mail. so i hope i have them by saturday.

Hmm. Notice that one card has the "M/G", meaning that it didn't meet what you wanted the minimum grade to be. The other 3 rejected cards looked like they may have been cracked out, then rejected upon a 2nd look. Otherwise, wouldn't they just give those "m/g" as well?

I'm not too sure. I am actually hoping that they did not crack them out. As they are worth more in the BGS holders (since one was a BGS 9.5) then as raw cards. I would asume they don't crack them unless they plan on slabbing them. I guiess I will know when it arrives.
