Anybody remember this card? (Photo added)

I just got a 1982 Fleer John Littlefield reverse negative error card in a huge collectin I just bought. Anybody have any idea what it will bring on Ebay? It's going up for auction in the next couple of weeks. There was a PSA 9 that did not sell at around $175. I will start mine at $1.00. Any guesses? Who would want one? Set collectors?

There are not a lot of '82 Fleer set collectors. I have had trouble selling some common PSA 10's for $10. I realize that the Littlefield is a rare error but '82 Fleer is just not very popular. Good luck though.

I've actually always wanted one. What do you want for it? How about 190 copies of the 1992 Will Clark Stadium Club All-Star Dome?

    (seriously, I'm interested)
  • hey- post a scan, eh? it's one of those cards from my childhood i always heard about but never actually saw. i always questioned its existence, like the 1990T No Name Frank Thomas, another card not many have actually seen. too bad it was from the butt-ass ugly 82F set!!

I am not at home. I will post a scan later, if I don't forget.

  • My guess is that it would grade an 8oc (if there is a corner ding Bottom-R) or 9oc.....maybe a straight 7. With this in mind, I would guess it sells for under $20 if you start the bidding at $1. I would start the bidding at $39.99 and see if anyone bites.
My collection is under construction at 27outs.net

Hey, I remember this card. At one time, it was the defacto error card to own back in the late 80's. It's also legitimately scarce, unlike a lot of other error cards of the time. I remember seeing these things go for over $200 back in the day before grading.
