AUTOGRAPH HELP

I have been awaiting Gordie Howe to come around and sign again. Needless to say, he is coming here next weekend. I have a jersey (sweater), with a FELT #9 that I would love to have signed. Has anyone ever had any experiences signing on felt? If so, any recomendations? I am concerned that the autograph will "bleed". However, if the signature comes out clean, I would have one cool jersey to hang up in a case.

  • It would be nice to get some matching material as the number, and do some tests with different pens.

Can't think of anyone I'd rather have scribble his name than "Mr. Hockey"

Good luck on getting the auto image

If you go with a Sharpie, use blue instead of black. I've seen black Sharpies which have faded over years, whereas blue holds better.
  • I would expect your felt number will bleed. Gordie does a fantastic job signing jersey's with non felt numbers he usually fills up the hole 9 with Gordie Howe then adds the insriptions Mr Hockey then HOF 72

    First...Welcome!!!

I'm clueless but I would consider bringing some alternative stuff to have signed.

How about bringing the sweater to the signing....and then, I would recommend asking them what they recommend. If it's a no go - you can have him sign it on another area or just go to your alternate stuff you brought to have signed. Just an idea.

Good luck and have a great time!
Take some pics if ya can and give us a peak.

Gordie is a total class act when it comes to autographs. He'll sign whatever you want, wherever you want.

Definitely one of the nicest athletes you will ever encounter, let alone a star of his magnitude.
