1967 canadian Set question

I have a 1967 Canadian presentation set that I picked up un opened a few years back.

Whan I opened it ( Red leather case, coins and medallion) All but the Nickel and cent had some deep blue toning.

However it looks like more than just toning, it looks like the dark material in the case has attached to the coins.

I think I remember someone posting a while back that you shouldn't dip canadian proofs because of the finish.

I don't think I will dip, but want to sell the set.

What would be a good price to offer on BST, it has all doccumentation and outer cardboard box? (I only found PL and UNC and one hairlined set on E-bay)

I found on google that this has nearly 1.8 oz of silver, can anyone confirm?

1.8 oz of silver sounds correct. This includes the medal.

The deep blue toning on the silver coins is common in both the prooflike medallion sets and specimen $20 gold sets issued in 1967.

The last medallion set I bought I got for $15 about 4 years ago. They're probably selling for more now.
