1985 Leaf BB Box Break

I purchased a box of 85 Leaf recently and the postman delivered it today. I set the box on my desk,
pull out the front right stack, turn over the first pack, gently open it and see









William Roger Clemens



Alas being the first one I see it has some wax on the back...




Any hints on removing the wax residue?

Hoping the luck I have had with the CU group rips and this box continues to the CU Football rip as well.

Use pantyhose, and gently rub the back of the card. On backs of cards, it may or may not work depending on how much wax is there.

i say break it all. i opened half a case about 7 years ago. got me 23 Clemens and 20 Pucketts!!!

I agree with roar there piman I've busted lots of 85 leaf this last year and usually you got no clemens or two too a box. I'm bettin theres another one hiding in there somewhere

dontippet- Thanks for the advice on wax removal. It appears to be minimal so the pantyhose should work.

RoarIn84 & 80sjunkie - Thanks for the advice on ripping the rest of the box. I hope your experiences hold true and I get multiple Clemens and Pucketts.
