bought one today for $30. probably paid about the right amount
yep, a scratch and wear. but to me this wasn't obviously cleaned (I could be wrong), there are very uniform lines across this coin which go right into the lettering, but not ON the lettering itself. EXCEPT across the date on the reverse. could this be die polish or is that just wishful thinking on my part?
oh, also picked up this centavo, my first. classic design IMHO.

Some of the more common dates, such as the 07-S, 08-S & 09-S, can be found in very nice BU condition for less than $100. But be careful, a lot have been cleaned.
