Bulls beat Seattle tonight with Heinrich getting 20 pts. and 9 assists and Collison with 20 pts. and 12 boards for seattle. Two of the best Jayhawks ever, I remember when Heinrich was a freshman he turned the ball over so much I hated to see him come in the game. He improved so much its amazing, and Collison is getting better and better as a pro.
Nice to see those two have so much success, because they worked so hard at Kansas to improve.image

As an Illinois alum with a wife and sister that went to KU, I can honestly say; I hate KU. And after an Illini trip to the finals, I am happy to have Bill Self in Lawrence. He won't win the big game. But I digress. I'm happy that Heinrich is a Bull and I am happy to see Collison doing well as they played before the Self sell out.

As for turning the ball over their freshman year, Luther Head, now on the Rockets, was a liabilty with the ball as a Fr. All he could do was jam. He certainly turned it around too. Not like Kirk, but kinda the same.

If KU doesn't make it to the final 4 this year, I think they should cut ties with Self.

zef, KU could really use a player like Heinrich this year. They have loads of talent, but I don't know if they have the kind of fire and passion they need.
There were a lot of KU fans mad at Roy Williams for going to UNC also. I wasn't too mad because it is his alma mater, but was frustrated that he won it all I think his second year there. Why couldn't he do that at KU?image
