    IMHO
    I think the coin slab pics are fine for an AU grade coin. The photos depict the luster and you can see the nick in the field at the bridge of Nap III nose. If your trying to cherry-pick the grade, then no the photos would not be adequate. Also the price would have to come into play, the higher the price or the higher the price as compared to similar coins then the better the photo would have to be.

    Also, the larger photos depict no lustre which may actually lower the value of the coin in my opinion.

    SilverEagle82: Thanks for your post. I believe that the lower set of digital images were most likely scanned, which may explain why they do not depict any of the luster seen on the accompanying slab photos.

    I am very much looking forward to receiving this coin, as I believe that it will have super eye appeal.
