When does a card get a MK Qualifier?

There's a PSA 4 Joe Tinker portrait on Ebay right now that has the name Warren in ink on the back with no qualifier. They grading standards say all cards with marks will have the qualifier added. It does not look to be of a high enough grade to achieve a PSA 4 with NQ. Anyone think this might be a mistake?Warren's Joe Tinker Portrait

PSA missed it, plain and simple
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I can see missing some rubbed out ink spot but that is pretty hard to miss.

That is the rare Warren Piedmont example.

    Good for you.
  • I have a card with a (MK) qualifier, and all that remains of the mark is where the pencil pressed into the card. There's an indentation of a letter on the back, and the mark has been erased, but it still got the (MK) qualifier.

  • That's just piss poor attention to detail and another reason why the qualifier system sucks.
